Mobile Clinic in North Jakarta Has Served 174 Animals

From July 13 to August 5, 2026, the mobile veterinary clinic of the North Jakarta Food Security, Marine, and Agriculture Sub-agency (KPKP) examined the health of 174 pets belonging to 134 residents.

Head Section of Animal Husbandry and Health of the Sub-agency, Adil Abdillah said this proactive outreach service is an effort to expand access to animal healthcare for residents across various areas of North Jakarta.

"The 174 animals we have served consisted of 135 cats, 35 dogs, and four other pets," he said, Thursday (8/6).

He explained that the mobile veterinary clinic vehicle is equipped with various medical support facilities, such as equipment for blood, urine, and biochemical analysis, ultrasound (USG), microscopes, anesthesia machines, and other diagnostic tools.

Services are provided on a rotating basis at strategic locations easily accessible to the public, ranging from urban village and district offices to Child-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA).

Service locations are determined based on proposals from the respective areas. Up to now, the service has reached the Koja, Penjaringan, Cilincing, Pademangan, and Tanjung Priok districts.

"The cost of the examination is also relatively affordable, starting from Rp 35,000," he explained.

Adil stated that the service is scheduled to be available at RPTRA Amanah on August 6 and 7. Meanwhile, during the following week, the service will be held at the Pademangan Timur Urban Village Office, the RW 10 Office in Sunter Jaya Urban Village, and the Semper Barat Urban Village Office.
